John Staley's experience of over 20 years in the construction industry from iron worker, electrician, drywall to concrete he has witnessed various forms of work performances, accidents, injuries, and management.
From the 285/400 expressway bridge expansion, helping build Atlanta's beautiful skyline from NorFolk Southern, to luxury high rises on 10th and Spring Street and 15th Street.
He has also contributed to the CDC and ATL Next Expansion project decks. Through that experience, he saw similar patterns that: Workers are not incapable of performing safely and efficiently. They fail to perform at such high level because they are not mentally prepared, not aware, or not guided by a standard.
The Craftsman Standard of Excellence framework was built to improve that.
